DALLAS — Dallas Police Department is still investigating the Jan. 15 attempted kidnapping of a young girl in the 700 block of Southeast Hankel Street in Dallas.
"We have had several tips come in from the public on this matter and a detective has followed up on each of those," said Jerry Mott, acting deputy chief. "However, as of this time, we still have not identified a suspect."
As of Tuesday morning, no suspect had been arrested and police are asking for people to be on the lookout for a vehicle matching this description: a purple car with possibly spray-painted dots on the side and black wheels.
The suspect is reportedly white, 5-feet-10-inches tall, with dark, possibly black hair.
Anyone with information should contact the Dallas Police Department at 503-831-3539.
