DALLAS — Calling all aspiring actors, budding screenwriters and those with an interest in film production — “Dallas by Daylight” needs you.

A production-in-the-works by Latitude One and Moonfall Theater, “Dallas by Daylight” is a proposed satirical and humorous web series telling the story of a pair of vampires who are granted asylum in the city of Dallas.

The trailer, created by Portland filmmaker Gerald Lewis, will premier Tuesday at Latitude One, 904 Main St., Dallas, at 5:30 p.m., followed by the rehearsal of the next scene in the film.

Those interested in being extras in the new scene, screenwriters or part of the crew for the project are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis to the premier. Those at the gathering will have a chance to provide feedback and collaborate on ways to improve the scene.

A campaign has also been launched on Kickstarter with a goal to raise $50,000 to pay for the series production.
