CORVALLIS -- The Dallas Dragons eighth-grade football team is the Mid-Valley Pop Warner's second-place squad.
In the eighth-grade championship game, No. 2 Lebanon upset the No. 1-seed Dragons 26-12 Sunday at Oregon State University's Reser Stadium.
The Dallas eighth-grade team finished the regular season with an undefeated record of 5-0 while competing in a league with Lebanon, West Albany, Sprague, South Albany, Silverton, North Marion, McNary, Crescent Valley and Corvallis.
In seventh-grade play, Dallas tied for third place after falling to Lebanon 34-26 in its final game of the season Sunday at Prothro West, OSU's outdoor practice facility.
The seventh-grade squad finished the regular season with a 5-1 record.
In the PeeWee division, the Dallas team finished its season in second place in the standings with a 6-1 record.
In the Junior PeeWee South division, the Dallas squad took third in its division with a 6-2 record, winning its final contest by a 13-7 overtime decision over McNary.
