Western Oregon’s Andy Avgi had a career-high 36 points in Saturday’s triple overtime win over CWU.

Avgi, a redshirt freshman on the Wolves' men's basketball team, scored 60 points in two victories last week. Thursday, the center from Woodburn netted a game-high 24 points in WOU's 92-84 win over Northwest Nazarene. Saturday, he had a career-high 36 points in the Wolves' 118-113 triple overtime victory over Central Washington. In the two games, Avgi shot 21 of 38 (55 percent) from the field and pulled down 15 rebounds. Avgi is currently averaging 21.8 points per game for the Wolves, a team best.
