SALEM -- The Dallas High boys basketball team fell in three tough outings at last weekend's South Salem Classic.

SALEM -- The Dallas High boys basketball team fell in three tough outings at last weekend's South Salem Classic.

Saturday, the Dragons (3-6) dropped a close contest to Woodinville (Wash.), 59-45.

Hayden Broadus and Spencer McCarron scored nine points apiece to lead the Dragons in the loss.

In Friday's 61-27 loss to Liberty (Wash.), Broadus was the lone Dallas player in double figures with 11 points. Thursday, Dallas suffered a 73-37 loss to Beaverton in the tournament's opener.

McCarron and Jon Richey led Dallas in scoring with seven points each.

The Dragons return to play Jan. 9, when they travel to Lebanon to open Mid-Willamette Conference play.
