MONMOUTH -- A first-half lead didn't hold for the Western Oregon University women's basketball team as the Wolves dropped a tight 60-49 contest at Central Washington Saturday.
Lorrie Clifford scored 15 points and Dana Goularte added eight points in the loss for WOU, which led 31-27 at the break.
It was the second-straight loss for the Wolves (6-10, 1-5 Great Northwest Athletic Conference), who dropped a 78-59 league decision at Northwest Nazarene Thursday. Melissa Fowler scored 16 points and Chantel Divibliss added 14 to lead WOU in the loss.
