Chapman, a senior guard for the Panthers boys basketball team, scored 35 points in two crucial Oregon West Conference wins last week. He netted 18 points in a 58-45 victory over Taft Jan. 22, then scored a team-high 17 points in Friday's 45-34 win at Stayton. The victories were the first in league play for Central, which is now stands at 3-2 in conference play after Tuesday's 42-36 victory over Newport.
