DALLAS -- For the first time in the organization's 50-year history, Kids, Inc. is partnering with the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) to offer beginning archery courses starting in June.
The courses will be offered to children in grades 4-12 and will focus on the fundamentals of international style target archery. All equipment will be provided -- Matthew's Genesis bows and Easton arrows and finger and arm guards, if needed -- and participants will not be allowed to use their own bows due to safety reasons.
Cost is $70 per person and online registration begins Sunday and runs through May 17. The season will begin June 10 and continues through Aug. 2.
