5A BASEBALL: Dallas has three selected to all-state first team

DALLAS -- The Dallas High School baseball team had three players selected to the 2013 Class 5A all-state squad as voted on by the state's coaches

DALLAS -- The Dallas High School baseball team had three players selected to the 2013 Class 5A all-state squad as voted on by the state's coaches.

Senior pitcher Jarett Peterson, senior catcher Bret Moskal and senior utility player Scott Schepige were all named as first-team selections. Dallas was the lone team to have three first-team players on the list.

Hood River Valley senior catcher Kyle Beam was named the Class 5A player of the year. Pitcher of the year honors went to Redmond senior J.D. Abbas. Jon Strohmaier of Sherwood was named the coach of the year.
