Playing with its lineup intact for the first time since its opening game, Central defeated Cottage Grove 57-49 on Friday.
"It felt like one of those games we should have been pulling away from," Central coach Bob McBeth said. "They were shooting so well that they were able to hang around."
Both teams hit seven 3-pointers during the game, but missed easy shots prevented the Panthers from taking control, McBeth said.
"We're not quite putting full games together," McBeth said. "Defensively we're doing well and pushing and getting the looks we want."
