Terry Robert Bunnell, a resident of Dallas, died on May 21, 2017, in Portland. He was 63 years of age.
Terry “Ted” was born on April 9, 1954, in Coos Bay and was the son of Bernard and Roberta (Salter) Bunnell.
He attended school at Milo Academy in Canyonville and moved to California for a short time.
In 1979, Ted moved to Dallas, where he worked for Willamette Industries, which later became Weyerhaeuser.
He retired in 2008 when the mill closed. He was also a caregiver for his dad, Bernard.
Ted enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating and fishing on the Oregon Coast.
He had a big heart and would take the time to help his neighbors and to make sure they had what they needed.
Ted is survived by his three children, Levi Bunnell, Luke Bunnell and McKenzie Nena; his mother, Roberta Bunnell-Clow; brothers, Larry Bunnell and Lee Bunnell; and his sister, Lynne Irwin; along with six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Ted’s life was on Sunday, June 4, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dallas City Park.
