David Christopher McDonnell, 55, of Keizer, died on Oct. 21, in Reno, Nev.
David was born on Oct. 21, 1962, in Porterville, Calf., to John and Bessie (Shaw) McDonnell.
He graduated from Central High School in 1981, in Independence. He joined the U.S. Navy, where he served on the USS Kincaid. David worked in the sheet metal industry for several years.
His interests were golfing, fishing and listening to music.
David survived by his fiancée Thersa Moore; his dog, Spencer; mother Bessie McDonnell; and siblings John (Andrea) McDonnell, Theresa McDonnell, Mark (Debbie) McDonnell, Patrick McDonnell, Paul (Suzie) McDonnell, Thomas McDonnell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, John McDonnell, and his brother, Mathew McDonnell.
Per David’s wishes, he will have a military burial at sea
