Gloria Jean Ediger victoriously ran straight into the arms of Jesus on Nov. 2, 2018. Although her birth certificate suggested she might be 85 years old, she didn’t look a day over 80.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Leon and Louisa May Hopkins, her brother Richard, her sister Judy, and her oldest son Chris.
She is survived by her husband Ernie, her daughter Angie, her son Brad, 12 grandchildren, too many great-grandchildren to track, and 2 very yappy dogs.
Although she was in chronic pain for more than four decades, she never stopped talking about her love for life and God. Yes, she would NEVER stop talking, except for the occasional naps she would take mid-sentence.
Her greatest joy was her family who all loved Jesus as she did.
A couple of days before the end, in her last moments of clarity, she awoke from a vision and joyously exclaimed, “I have been to heaven! It is Glorious there!”
In the end, she passed as she would want, lying next to the love of her life, holding his hand as she breathed her last.
For any future correspondence, please note her change of address:
Gloria Ediger, Child of God, now in Heaven at the feet of Jesus.
We will miss you Mom, but we’ll see you soon. We’ll see you soon.
