Les Day, of Dallas, died Nov. 17, 2018, at 88. He was born in Nisland, South Dakota, on April 22, 1930.
Les spent most of his life in Oregon and served in the U.S. Army for two years. He married Betty Schlecht, and together they had two children. Les retired from Caterpillar in Dallas, and had his own remodeling business for a few years after retirement.
He loved camping, fishing, hunting and serving the Lord wholeheartedly, and we look forward to seeing him again.
He is survived by his son Fred (Missy) Day; daughter Rebecca (Albert) Hernandez; two granddaughters; six great-grandsons; and one great-great-granddaughter.
