Marian was very artistic. She played the organ, piano, xylophone and a had a beautiful singing voice. She enjoyed painting, decorating and knitting.
For many summers, Marian made certain her family spent time in Minnesota enjoying the lakes and combating the mosquitoes. After retirement, Marian and Gordon enjoyed wintering for 20-plus years in Yuma, San Diego, and Palm Springs. Marian enjoyed working in her yard and tending her flowers. She liked sitting on her deck enjoying the sunshine and beautiful surroundings.
Marian was a longtime member of the Evangelical Bible Church. She was a kind and gracious friend who was always eager to bake cookies or prepare a meal for someone sick or in need.
