JoAnne Culpepper Haugen, 69, of Auburn, Washington, passed away Dec. 7, 2018. JoAnne was born in Prineville on Jan. 2, 1949, to the late William and Donna Culpepper.
She grew up in The Dalles, and graduated from The Dalles Senior High School.
She also attended Oregon State University, where she graduated with a degree in home economics. JoAnne devoted her time and talents to her family. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and tending to the home.
JoAnne was also an accomplished genealogist and loved researching her family history. She later worked for the American History Company and for private clients as an accredited genealogist.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she volunteered countless hours.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Haugen. She is survived by her three sons, Steven Blanch, Jeffery Blanch, and Erik Haugen; and her 10 grandchildren.
Services were on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1401 SW 13th St, Dallas.
