Loneita May Miller, a resident of Dallas, died on Friday, Dec. 22 in Salem.
Loneita was born Nov. 22, 1929, in Berryville, Ark., to Roy and Carmen Keen.
Loneita moved with her family in 1936, at the age of 7, from Arkansas to Idaho. Her family moved again in 1941, when Loneita was 12 years old, to a logging camp in Nehalem. Loneita attended school in Nehalem, and later graduated from Nehalem High School.
Loneita had many enjoyments in life, which ranged from gardening to reading, crossword puzzles, and coloring. She especially enjoyed being outdoors in nature. She loved to go to Baskett Slough and watch the birds.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Casterline, her late husband Roy Miller, daughter Winona Warburton, daughter Ami Barrett and stepson Richard Miller, and three siblings.
She is survived by daughter Alia Thompson; sister Bonnie Hern; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral service was held on Friday, Dec. 29, at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center. Interment will take place at Sunset Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery, in Tillamook. Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center is caring for the family.
