Doris Jean Dalke, age 89, of North Bend, passed away at home Nov. 7, 2018. She was born Oct. 23, 1929, in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Clyde Theodore and Minnie Ellen Street.
After spending a year at Grace Bible Institute in Omaha, she married Arnold U. Dalke.
They spent their life together ministering with Village Missions in Bridge; Elk River, Idaho; Azalea; Elk Plain, Washington; Horse Creek, California; and Brinnon, Washington.
After her husband’s death in 1984, she worked in the Village Missions office in Dallas until her retirement and remained in Dallas until moving to North Bend to live with her daughter and son-in-law for the past 4.5 years.
She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Pinson, of North Bend; son, Dan Dalke, of Grants Pass; 11 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
