Marilyn Lou Muller passed away on Jan. 12 at the age of 78. She was born Feb. 13, 1940, in O’Neill, Nebraska, to Pete and Eva (Friesen) Goertzen.
Marilyn was raised in Dallas. She graduated from Dallas High School and attended Seattle Pacific College, where she met Melvin Arthur Muller in 1961. They were married on Oct. 28, 1961, in Dallas. She worked in banking as well as realty. Marilyn enjoyed being with her family and singing.
She is survived by husband Melvin Muller, of Dallas; daughter Darla Davis, son Darren Muller; her three grandchildren Jesse Davis, Nikole King, and Kylee Davis; as well as her 14 great-grandkids and one great-great-grandchild.
A celebration of Marilyn’s life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 19, at Dallas Alliance Church. Visitation will be from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center.
