An annual holiday social gathering hosted by Dallas residents Skip and Betty Lowrie proved to be more than just a good time for the 101 attendees. Also benefiting was the Willamette Humane Society serving Polk and Marion counties. The Lowrie’s and their guests contributed 450 pounds of pet food as well as cash to the agency. Pictured with some of the donations are (from left) Dallas mayor Jim Fairchild, Skip and Betty Lowrie, and Dallas community planner John Swanson.
