Thomas 'Tom' Carssow

Tom Carssow, 58, of Salem died Dec. 4.

He was born in Lewiston, Idaho, to Boyd and Melivina Carssow.

Tom moved to Salem in 1973 with his family. He graduated from North Salem High School in 1976. He was a journeyman electrician and had worked for Northside Electric. He was passionate about his work and enjoyed the comradery he shared with his coworkers.

Tom was an Eagle Scout, diehard Seahawks fan, history buff, loved his dogs, China and Hank, was an outdoors man, humorous, and a good friend.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn.

Survivors include his brothers, John, George, Robert and Mike; and sisters, Cathy and Barbara.

Graveside service is Thursday at 11 a.m. at Dallas Cemetery.

Dallas Mortuary Tribute Center handled arrangements.
